Updates about my life in Peace Corps, Guatemala. I arrived in April 2010, and will be leaving in April of 2013 (ish). I am supposed to put some disclaimer about how my views/opinions/anything I write in this blog are not the official views/opinions of the U.S. government or of Peace Corps. I forget the exact wording, but basically what I say comes from me and not Peace Corps.

Guest entry by my mom about her visit, part 12 of 14
DAY 10 (hot springs):
Six hours, eight bumpy vehicles. That's what it takes to get to and from the hot springs in Zunil. It's worth every bump.
These guys hopped on to the back of the bus and rode with us for several miles.
I'm with you, Elizabeth. I love Brian's face in this picture too (and in any picture for that matter). And this ride was exuberantly, abundantly, bovinely, breathstoppingly, beyond-photographability beautiful.
Hahaha I love Brian's face in the picture with you. It's impossible to convey in pictures how beautiful that ride was!

ReplyDeleteGreat pictures -- and BEAUTIFUL scenery!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Wend. Having you share in the beauty increases the pleasure of the memories.
